New Ball Bearing Core:

Ball bearings drastically reduce friction, allowing the turbo to maintain higher shaft speed when coming off throttle and recover boost pressure faster when power is reapplied.
This results in a noticeably more responsive and versatile driving experience, especially in towing, off-road, and performance applications.
GTurbo’s new ceramic bearing system has undergone extreme durability testing, including sustained 50 psi boost on a G400Ti-equipped drag Hilux producing over 450 whp, with zero bearing failures to date.
The VD-G333 Ball Bearing designed boost rating is 30psi, operating efficiently from 16-33psi, with 30psi typically available from 1500rpm when the tune and setup are complementary.
Accurate tuning is essential for reliability, efficiency, and performance. Standard performance for the VDJ70 series is around 380nm of wheel torque and 100-120rwkw. With the VD-G333 Ball Bearing combined with our custom remap, you can expect around 800-900nm of wheel torque and 190rwkw to 220rwkw.
Installations of GTurbo Intercooler Fan Kit it or large intercooler, 3” exhaust, GTurbo Powerpipe (intake pipe), NPC1600Nm Clutch and upgraded injectors have yielded results as high as 260rwkw and torque over 1000nm at the wheels.
Please note that the performance figures are based on using a turbo-back exhaust system. Performance will be slightly lower if the DPF is retained.
This unit can be used as a direct replacement for the factory unit, with no modification required to the tune/ECU, and is designed to function optimally with or without the DPF.
Common supporting modifications include a GTurbo Intercooler Fan kit or PDI Front mount intercooler, exhaust upgrade, upgraded airbox, replacement turbo intake pipe (GTurbo Power Pipe), NPC1600Nm Clutch and GTurbo high-flow injectors.
